DIED--On the night of the 15th inst., in this place, Mr. T. SAMUEL HOLMES, aged 24 years.
Mr. HOLMES was one of our earlier settlers and was much esteemed as a citizen. He was unwell with a cold accompanied with a severe derangement of the bowels but not much danger was anticipated until a short time before his death. His disease then assumed the type of a severe billious colic which in a few hours caused mortification. His funeral was attended by a large number of our citizens.
