Louise was born September 14, 1930, to Marvin and Marjorie Heft in Sparta, MI. The fourth of nine children, Louise, grew up on the family's apple farm in Sparta. She married John "Jack" F. Palczewski June 12, 1954, and he preceded her in death. Surviving are her four children, William (Theresa Tuttle) Palczewski, Jean Tingley, Janice Palczewski, and Marjorie Palczewski. She was blessed with one grandson Andrew (Meggan) Palczewski and three great-grandchildren, Madeline, Milo, and Ezra. Louise has one surviving brother Curtis "Buster" (Dee) Heft and two sisters Bevra Kramer and Judy (Butch) Hamernik; several sister-in-laws; nieces and nephews; along with a host cousins. Louise was a member of the Carl A Johnson American Legion Post 2 Auxiliary and a member of St. Isidore Rosary Society. Louise taught CCD to special needs children at St Isidore Parish. She was a founding member of the Kent Special Riding Program, served as their treasurer for many years. She and Jack were also very active volunteers at Lincoln School. Louise was a very talented seamstress who taught sewing to young kids for over 50 years through the 4-H Extension office. And Louise shared her sewing talents with many a young bride who walked down the aisle wearing a gown sewn by her.
The Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Isidore Church on Wednesday May 24th, Her family will receive visitors one hour prior to the Mass starting at 10:00 AM. Private family interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
