Ms. Akers died Saturday, May 30. 2020 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was a big time animal lover. Shawna was a "sweet angel".
She is survived by her mother, Tamara Lynne (Tim) Sims; father, Mark Wayne Akers; step-mother, Kristin Nichole Price; three sisters, Sara, Sidney, Haidyn; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be Friday, June 5, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
