Stephen Raymond Kopanic, died Tuesday in Mon Valley Hospital Carroll Township. Mr. Kopanic was born in Gallatin, a son of the late Joseph and Marie Kopanic. He was a supervisor in the Wire Mill Department of the former U.S. Steel Works in Donora and had also worked at Colorado Fuel and Iron Co and the Bliss and Laughlin Corp, both in Buffalo, N.Y. Mr. Kopanic had lived in Gallatin, Donora, Monongahela and Finleyville and also Washington D.C., and Buffalo, N.Y
He was a member of St Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Finleyville. His wife, Jean Bezzani Kopanic, whom he married in 1937 preceded him in death in 1980.
