Regina Westmoreland's passing at the age of 69 on Saturday, May 13, 2023 has been publicly announced by Bocken Funeral Home, Inc. in Hammond, Indiana.

According to the funeral home, the following services have been scheduled: Visitation, on May 18, 2023 at 4:00 p.m., ending at 6:00 p.m., at Zion Holiness Church, 5051 Central Avenue, Portage, Indiana. Funeral service, on May 18, 2023 at 6:00 p.m., at Zion Holiness Church, 5051 Central Avenue, Portage, Indiana.

Graveside service, on May 20, 2023 at 10:45 a.m., at Cole's Chapel Cemetery, Christian County, Kentucky.

Regina G. Westmoreland, age 69, of Hammond went home to meet her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 13, 2023.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Roger Dale Westmoreland; one son, Nathaniel Westmoreland; one granddaughter, Ava Westmoreland; numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and dear friends.

Preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Jimmie Frances Croft; sister, Deanna Faye (Troy) Asher.

Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Zion Holiness Pentecostal Church of Portage, 5051 Central Ave. Portage, IN 46368 for a time of visitation from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Funeral service will be celebrated at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard Westmoreland officiating.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 10:45 a.m. at Cole's Chapel Cemetery in Christian County, Kentucky with Pastors Richard Westmoreland and Steve Epley officiating.

Gina has been a long-time resident of Hammond and a very faithful long-time member of Zion Holiness Church. She taught Sunday School for over 45 years and enjoyed singing with her husband in a group called Voices of Zion. Gina was part of the Secret Sisters ladies' group at church and used her talent of sewing to make many costumes for church plays. She also served by cleaning the church for many years was hairdresser for many of the women from the church. Gina worked at numerous jobs but most of all enjoyed serving her family and friends, she was a great cook and the favorite aunt. She was loved by many and will be missed all who knew her.
