David Glenn Allen, 72, of Four Oaks, died Tuesday, March 18, at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Smithfield.
Born in Johnston County, Mr. Allen was the son of the late John Rufus and Ruth Moore Allen.
He was the owner and operator of David Glenn Allen Trucking.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 20, at Faith Free Will Baptist Church near Four Oaks. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Floy Massengill Allen; a daughter, Tracy Allen; a son, Marty Glenn Allen; and two grandchildren.
