Preceding D.J. in death is his father, Tony J. Brian and his grandson, Bryon R. Marion.
D.J. graduated from Griffin High School. He dedicated over 36 years at the United States Postal Service and served his country in the Army National Guard. D.J. was an avid golfer who golfed at many locations across the U.S. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, and special friend.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Brian; daughters, Apryl D. Marion and Kristina M. Brian of Springfield; his mother, Jennie H. Brian; five grandchildren; his brother, Ronald (wife, Gaye) J. Brian of Springfield; two aunts, Jean Aherin of Divernon and Gloria Baldwin of Winter Haven, FL; many nieces and nephews to include Jeff Brian of St. Louis; and many cousins.
Cremation accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. Memorial ceremony at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home.
Inurnment at Oak Ridge Mausoleum.
