Services for Merlene Carroll Burress, 71, will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 9, 2005 at Bodkin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Milan.
Mrs. Burress is survived by her husband, Ray Burress of Milan; a son, Terry Burress of Springhill, LA; four daughters, Darlene Gingerich of Jackson, TN, Cheryl Hardy of Monroe, LA, Gina Goforth of Abilene, TX and Dee Ann Scott of Macon, GA; two brothers, Frank L. Carroll, Jr. of Henry, TN and Robert Carroll of Martin, TN; a sister, Betty Ann Replogle of Paris, TN and seventeen grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, James Richard Carroll.
The family will receive friends after 5:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
