Benneville Behney died at the county almshouse Monday morning, aged about 70 years. Mr. Behney was stricken with paralysis nearly two years ago and had been practically helpless for a long time. The remains were brought to the home of his wife on Cherry Street, from where the funeral will be held at 1:30 on Thursday afternoon. Services will be conducted in the Lutheran church by Dr. Schantz. Interment on the Union cemetery. Besides his widow, the following children survive: Mrs. Henry P. Baum, Of Mt. Zion; Mrs. George Eisenhower and Mrs. Samuel Wagner of West Myerstown; Mrs. Morris Dry, of town; Amelia, at home, and Frank, residing at Lebanon. [Lebanon Daily News, 26 Jul 1904]
