Ole grew up in Snohomish and worked as a heavy equipment operator and also served in the Army and Korean War. Ole loved fishing, seafood, road trips in his RV and working on just about anything that had a motor in it. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Ole was a very gentle soul but could be stubborn at times. He had an innocence and kindness about him that just made you want to be around him. He saw and experienced a lot in all his 88 years here in Snohomish. Growing up with eight brothers it wasn't always a walk in the park. Ole is survived by his lovely wife, Noriko; beautiful daughter, son-in-law,and two grandchildren.
Thank you to the Everett Providence staff on the 8th floor for all your help. Dick Fenney you forever will be Ole's non-blood brother and the best fishing buddy in the world! Charlie Brown- Ole loved you like a son and he will be saving you the best fishing spot in heaven. Just hope there will be some fish left over when you get there. Matt Price, Ole loved you like his own son over these last 20 years. You had some amazing fishing stories to tell. Opening day will never be the same without the two of you wrecking everyone's fishing lines. To all our wonderful friends and family, thank you for being there to support Noriko and Milane during this difficult time.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday July 9, 2016, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Paulson's Home in Snohomish WA. Address is 13220 South Machias Road Snohomish WA 98290.
