Quincy Illinois chapter, Chatton Home Extension as a charter member, Home Extension Board of Adams county Illinois including as a past president, Good Shepherd Nursing Home volunteer, 4-H Club as a leader, Mission Builder with her husband at ELCA, and a volunteer and once executive director of the local chapter of the American Cancer Society.
Dorothy M. Buss passed away 24 September 1993 at her residence in Golden Illinois. Brothers Harold, Pat, Pete and Robert predeceased her.
Reverend Lynn Bergren led services held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Golden, Illinois. Interment was at Golden Memorial Gardens in Golden, Illinois.
