Greenville News, 12 Jul 2004Fountain Inn:  Inez Parnell Bagwell, 81, of North Main St., wife of the late Clyde T. Bagwell, died July 10, 2004, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Lowndesville, S.C., a daughter of the late Jesse and Nelly Jane Bonds Parnell, Mrs. Bagwell was a homemaker and a member of Fairview Street Baptist Church, where she attended the T.E.L. Sunday School Class for forty-three years, and was a volunteer at the Fountain Inn Senior Action Center for eighteen years.

Surviving are a daughter, Jane Bagwell, of the home; two sons, Clyde Bagwell and his wife, June, and David Bagwell and his wife, Sherrie, all of Fountain Inn; three grandchildren, Wendy Barbery, Tommy Bagwell and Steven Bagwell, all of Fountain Inn; six grandchildren; four sisters; and two brothers. Mrs. Bagwell was predeceased by a sister and six brothers.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today, July 12, 2004, at Fairview Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Pigg and the Rev. Mike Bearden officiating. Burial will be at Cannon Memorial Park in Fountain Inn. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 11, 2004, at Cannon Funerals and Cremations in Fountain Inn.
