Beverly R. Bacon

White River Junction -- Beverly R. Bacon of White River Junction, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006, at her home.

She was born in Lebanon a daughter of Harold E. Brown Sr. and Alice (Clement) Brown. She grew up in Springfield, N.H. and graduated from New London High School. She was married to Llewellyn Ramsdell in 1952, and they made their home in Lebanon.

She was employed for many years by First National Store in Lebanon before accepting a position with the Dartmouth Medical School's department of pathology. She retired after more than 20 years.

She was a member and past treasurer of Grafton Star Grange, where she received many awards for her embroidery work.

She is survived by three children Roy Ramsdell of Gill, Mass., Patty Tucker of Lebanon and Terri Allen of White River Junction; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; a brother, Raymond Brown of Lebanon; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Harold Brown Jr. and Richard Brown.

Friends may call at Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon tomorrow from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be at Ricker Funeral Home on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Virginia Fryer officiating. Her family requests memorial contributions be made in her name to Hanover Senior Center, 48 Lebanon St., Hanover, N.H. 03755.
