Wife of Clyde Hobart of Rio Dell; mother of Mrs. Jeanette Sousa and Martha Lorenzo, both of Ferndale; sister of Mrs. Edith Elston of Pettus, Texas, and Mrs. Martha Dunivant of Parsons, Kansas. She is survived by seven grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and numerous other relatives.

Mrs. Hobart was a native of Joplin, Mo. She came to California and Humboldt County in 1952, where she had made her home in Eureka, Ferndale, Fortuna, and during the past several years in Rio Dell. She was a member of the Cooks and Waitresses Union Local 220 of Eureka, and a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 6353 of Ferndale. Age 59.

Friends are invited to attend services in the Chapel of Goble's Fortuna Mortuary Wednesday, May 15, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. William Diehl officiating. Private family interment at Sunset Memorial Park, Eureka.

Casket bearers will be Michael Sousa, Allen Sousa, Earl Ambrosini, Meredith Bryant, Tracy Waterson and Jim Dunn.

Those wishing may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or to their favorite charity.
