Daughter of Johannes and Anna Pfiefer Younger. She married Carl Steckline. They had 8 children. She later married Peter Gerstner.

Munjor -- Mrs. Anna Stecklein Gerstner, 87, died Saturday, Nov. 26, at St. Anthony Hospital. She was born Dec. 20, 1889 in Ellis County, the daughter of John and Anna Catherine Pfeifer Younger.

She was a member of the D of I of Victoria, the Christian Mothers and the Third Order of St. Francis.

Surviving are three sons, Frank Stecklein, San Antonino, Tex., Henry Stecklein, Munjor, and Richrad Stecklein, Arvada, Colo.; four daughters, Mrs. Alphonse Josie Gross, Antonino, Mrs. Ray Rose Linenberger, Hays, Mrs. Marc Mary Resley, Russell, and Mrs. Agnes Maupin, Munjor; five brothers, John Younger, Cheyenne Wells, Colo., Leo Younger, Commerce City, Colo., Mike Younger and Jerome Younger, both of Ellis, and Fred Younger, Denver, Colo.; four sisters, Mrs. Barbara Arnold, Victoria, Mrs. Mary Weigel, Commerce City, Colo., Mrs. Theresa Werth, Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Regina Zimmerman, Ellis; 31 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter. Funeral at 10 a.m. Monday, St. Francis Church, Munjor; Church Cemetery. Parish wake at 8 p.m. Sunday at Brock's North Hill Chapel, Hays. Hays and Victoria D of I Rosary at 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Brock's. Friends may call from 1 - 9 p.m. Sunday at Brock's.
