Vivian E. Irwin, 85, of Peoria died Sunday, March 9, 2008, at Rosewood Care Center in East Peoria.
Born Feb. 9, 1923, in Peoria, a daughter of Ray and Ethel Hammer Poplette, she married Harry J. Irwin on Feb. 9, 1946, in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Dennis (Nancy) Irwin of Washington; one stepson, Barry (Carol) Irwin of Lake Camelot; and one brother, Jerry (Sharon) Poplette of East Peoria.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
Mrs. Irwin was employed by the S.S. Kresge Company in downtown Peoria for two years and later was a clerical worker for Caterpillar Inc. for 30 years, retiring in 1982.
Graveside services and burial will be Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
