Gary loved playing golf, especially if he played well, and then after the game the social time in the 19th hole. Gary loved hunting, shooting, boating, traveling, reading, working crossword puzzles, tinkering and repairing different things, and probably most of all just relaxing.
Gary graduated from Henderson County High, attended Murray State University, and graduated from Henderson Community College. Gary retired from the insurance adjusting business and had over 40 years of experience. He also owned, at one time, ServiceMaster franchises that served the tristate area. Gary was a member of the Elk's Lodge and the Henderson Country Club. Gary met many people through his work and his activities and many became friends. So many of these friends reached out in thoughts and prayers during his difficult struggle with ALS.
