He was the son of the late Jimmy and Edna Hagin and was preceded in death by his sisters, Detta Hicks and Gladys Hedden; daughter-in-law, Vannesa Hagin and his uncle Junior Hagin.
Donald was a member of Valley Brook Church of God.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Opal Hagin of the Residence; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna Sue and Louis Long of Chatsworth and Melisa and Mark Gamlen of Dalton; sons and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Hagin of Dalton and Jeff and Misty Hagin of Ooltewah, TN; brother and sister-in-law, George and Carolyn Hagin of Dalton; grandchildren, Tiffany Penn, Brittany Carlock, Ashley Moody, Michael Callahan, Jeffery "Bubba" Hagin and Charity Gamlen; 6 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews also survive.
At Donald's request, no funeral services will be held.
Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens.
