Obituary:

"Aged Citizen Dies Here Last Week"

William Logan Cash, age 78 years, 4 months, and 22 days, died at the home of his son, James Harrison Cash, in this city on Tuesday morning, January 7, 1919, at 4:37 o'clock from bronchitis. He had been in poor health for several weeks, but was not thought dangerously ill.

The remains were taken to Meridian Tuesday afternoon where they were interred in the Meridian Cemetery after religious services were conducted at the grave by Reverend W.A. Bryan of the Baptist Church of Meridian.

He was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky, August 15, 1840, and remained there with his parents until he was 22 years of age, when he moved to Rock Castle County, Kentucky, in which county he married Miss Elizabeth Greer, who died in Meridian in 1900.

He was the father of three children, two daughters and one son, the latter James Harrison Cash, of this city being the only surviving member of the family. His daughters, Misses Mary Malvind and Laura Elen Cash having died in Bosqueville in 1888.
