Born to Clifton Rodney Preston Sr., and Dorothy Louella Corliss. He was a sweet man and had a caring heart for people and animals. He had a hobby of working on small household projects. He served Navy from 1965-1967, serving on the USS Coral Sea during the Viet Nam War. Discharged in 1971, he had many fond memories of his time at sea and his travels. He moved on to become a farmer, truck driver, CEO, and retired from Gardner's Supply Company in 2010 where he had built a workshop for himself to repair items and machinery in the warehouse. He was baptized 9 Nov 2014, at Grace United Methodist in Essex Junction, Vermont. He was a current member and custodian at Epiphany Lutheran church in Eagle Lake, MN. He had considered Eagle Lake home, just as much as growing up in Georgia, Vermont, and living in Burlington, Vermont. He will be missed by all who knew him.
