Graveside services for Laverne O'Toole, 86, Tyler, are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Charles R. Moore officiating under direction of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. O'Toole died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, after a lengthy illness. She was born Feb. 23. 1922, in Winona. She was a member of the 1939 Tyler High School graduating class and attended Tyler Junior College. After graduation, she worked as a dental lab assistant in Tyler before moving to San Francisco during World War II. She was a member of the First Christian Church.

Mrs. O'Toole met and married her husband, Joseph O'Toole, in 1942 who served with the U.S. Army Signal Corps during World War II and was one of a group that stayed at the Blackstone Hotel while in training. After the war, the couple made Tyler their home.

Survivors include two sons, Michael J. O'Toole and wife Nancy, and Neil James O'Toole; one daughter, Kathy O'Toole: eight grandchildren, Jensen Fortner. Michael O'Toole. Nancy Ingenloff, Leslie Blasig, Anne O'Toole, Aubrey O'Toole, Kelli Boydston and Dax O'Toole; five great-grandchildren. Abigail Ingenloff. Natalie Ingenloff, Garrison Fortner. Grant Fortner and Kai Boydston.

Honorary pallbearers are Michael O'Toole, Ben Fortner. Christopher Ingenloff, Derryk Blasig, Dax O'Toole and Zachary Boydston.
