Eugenia Tiller Adams, 70, of Holden, WV, died on Saturday, February 26, 2022. She was born November 27, 1951, at Mercy Hospital in Logan, WV, to Eugene Hanks and Jean Tiller Nelson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Claude "Dink" and Rebecca (Thompson) Tiller and Everett and Ida (Wooten) Hanks. Eugenia was a 1969 graduate of Logan High School and a 1986 graduate of Marshall University. She was a retired schoolteacher from Logan County Schools with 30 years of service. She worked for C&P Telephone Company in Logan from 1972-1982 and Super S, K-City Discount and Kroger. Eugenia is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Dennis); 3 grandsons, Dennis II, Adam, and Jake. Services will be held Friday at Freeman Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be some of her former students. Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV, is in charge of the arrangements.
