"Jennie Allen, daughter of Thos. and Lucinda Allen, departed this life Saturday evening, Jan. 18th, of spinal and nervous trouble. Little Jennie had been a patient sufferer for nearly four years. All that loving parents, sisters, brothers and kind friends could do was done to relieve her, but the Master delights in transplanting such beautiful flowers in the garden above, there in perpetual bloom to live forever.
Her remains were laid to rest in the beautiful Shatto cemetery Sunday to await the coming of the Lord. Though we see her form no more, nor hear her sweet voice, we know that hers shall be a 'Ministering Spirit' , sent forth to do service for the sake of them that shall inherit salvation.
