WADE A. BAYS, age 67, of Oxford, Ohio passed away November 20, 2007 at the Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio.
He was born May 17, 1940 in Barbourville, Knox County, Kentucky, the son of Leonard and Ada Philpot Bays.
On December 13, 1958, he married Roberta Hubbard in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Wade was a truck driver for over thirty years, mainly for Duff Trucking.
He was a retired Teamster and was a 32 Degree Mason and belonged to Masonic Lodge #346 in North Bend.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta; two children, Robyn (Phil) Thyen and Denver (Sharon) Bays, all of Oxford, Ohio; four grandchildren, Emily and Alex Thyen & Amanda and Natalie Bays; one brother, Lawrence Bays; and one sister, Emma Brown.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, James, Charles, Rob and Winston; and one sister, Addie Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on November 26, 2007 at the Smith & Ogle Funeral Home, 5086 College Corner Pike, Oxford, Ohio.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the 1:00 PM funeral service, 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
Burial will be in the Woodside Cemetery, Oxford, Ohio.
