Mrs. Alice Matilda Godfrey, 96, of 508 Briarcliff Rd. West Point, Georgia passed away Thursday, May 31st, 2007 at Hospice LaGrange, Troup County, GA.

Mrs. Godfrey was born in Greenville, PA on January 5, 1911, the daughter of the late Charlie and Tillie (Zuschlag) Dawes.

Mrs. Godfrey was a fifty year member of Burghill Baptist Church Burghill, OH. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her home, flowers, her church, and arts and crafts.

She was the widow of Raymond Godfrey. They were married in 1935. He preceded her in death in 1986.

Mrs. Godfrey is survived by Two Daughters: Marilyn (and husband) Henry Crislip of West Point, GA and Judy (and husband) John Simeon of Phoenix, AZ; A Sister: Helen Cornthwait of Transfer; 2 granddaughters, 2 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson: Jeff Lloyd; four brothers: John, Roy, Dale, and Earl; and one sister: Nema.

Funeral Service will be held at Andrew H. Osborne III Funeral Home, Inc., Greenville, PA. at 11:30 AM on Monday, June 4th, with Rev. Glenn Wadlington officiating.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 6-8 PM at Andrew H. Osborne III Funeral Home, Inc.

Burial, with Committal Services will be held Shenango Valley Cemetery Greenville, Pennsylvania.
