A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Toluca, with Father James Kretz officiating. Inurnment will follow in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Calvert & Froelich Memorial Home, Toluca.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Toluca Ambulance Personnel Fund.
Frank was born Aug. 1, 1944, in Streator, the son of Barney and Vera Mae Lieder DeRubeis Sr. They both preceded him in death.
He is survived by two brothers, Barney (Becky) DeRubeis Jr. and Melvin DeRubeis, both of Toluca; and three sisters, Nancy Healy of Wenona, Ruth Ann Norbits of Toluca and Mary Lou Nicholson of Warrenton, Mo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many young men he has taken under his wing.
Frank was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Toluca.
He was a member of Marshall-Putnam County Farm Bureau and the Toluca Coal Mine Association.
He was a farmer in the Toluca area but his beloved occupation was pushing snow. He was commonly known as Mr. Plow.
Frank was a very warm-hearted person and was loved by all who knew him.
