Mrs. Patsy "Pat" Ann Ackerman, age 88 of Liberty, Ohio and formerly of Madison, entered this life on January 15, 1935 in Cleveland, Virginia. She was the loving daughter of the late Elkanie E. "Kaney" and Elizabeth Emeline Lockhart Harris. She was a 1951 graduate of Cleveland High School in Cleveland, Virginia. She lived in Hamilton, Ohio from 1958 until 1965. She was a loving sister, aunt and friend to many. She married Harold Edward Ackerman on June 16, 1962 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in China, Indiana. This union was blessed with one daughter, Lisa Ann, who died on October 10, 1969. She had worked for Standard Life from 1952 - 1956 in Greensboro, South Carolina, 1956 -1958 for Burlington Industries, 1957 - 1958 for Mills Bros. Construction in Jefferson, Virginia,1958 - 1962 for Hamilton Foundry, and at Ratheon in Bristol, Tennessee. When she moved to Madison in 1965, she first worked for Dr. Childs in the x-ray department and then at King's Daughters' Hospital as a secretary for a total of 31 years. Pat was a faithful member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Madison. She enjoyed being with her family, playing cards, reading, and walking. She moved to Fairfield, Ohio to be near her nephews and resided there until her death on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 8:30 a.m at the Story Point in Hamilton, Ohio.

A LOVING FAMILY
Pat will be missed by her nephews, Doug Harris of Hamilton, Ohio and Greg Harris of Fairfield, Ohio; her niece, Carol Jersey of Big Canoe, Georgia; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by father, Elkanie E. "Kaney" Harris, died April 12, 1942, mother, Elizabeth Emeline Lockhart Harris, died September 14, 1999, husband, Harold Edward Ackerman, died February 9, 1994, daughter, Lisa Ann Ackerman, died October 10, 1969, brother, Gean A. Harris, died July 14, 2009; her sisters, Madeline Mile, died October 3, 2016 and Sue Wright, died May 1, 2023.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 11:00 am, by Rev. Rick Fory at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery, 305 West State Street in Madison, Indiana.

VISITATION
Friends may visit Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
