Charles I. Lantis, 75, of Germantown, passed away Sunday at 1:40pm at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Dayton.
He was a native of the West Elkton community and for many years was a farmer in preble and Montgomery counties.
He moved to Germantown about 10 years ago and was employed at WPAFB in Dayton until ill health forced him to retire sixteen months ago.
Survivors include the widown, Minnie; three sons, C. Emerson of Tipp City, Minor L. of West Alexandria and Marvin E. of Dayton; one daughter, Mrs. Louise Kuhl of St. Louis MO; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services for Mr. Lantis will be held Wednesday (today) at 2pm at the Arpp Funeral Home in Germantown. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at Gratis.
