Mrs. Judy Lynn Rayl Keith, age 80, of Hanover, Indiana entered this life on February 24, 1943 in Vevay, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late George Hopkins and Hallie C. Henry Rayl. She was raised in Switzerland County and attended Vevay High School. On July 22, 1972 she was united in marriage to Danny Carroll Keith in Carrollton, Kentucky. She had resided the past 50 years in Jefferson County and had worked for twenty years at Grote Industries as a machine operator and previously at the U.S. Shoe Corporation in downtown Madison. She worked early in life as a waitress for the Madison Country Club, the Hillside Inn, The Pines Restaurant. She was of the Christian faith and collected beanie babies, loved watching and feeding the birds, planting flowers, watching crime shows and going to Belterra. Judy died suddenly on Friday, April 28, 2023, at 10:47 p.m. at her home in Hanover, Indiana.
A LOVING FAMILY
Judy will be missed by her loving of 50 years, Danny Carroll Keith of Hanover, Indiana; her sons, Troy Waters and his wife, Sonja of Vine Grove, Kentucky, Todd Waters and his wife, Leah of Batesville, Indiana; her daughters, Teresa Duke and her husband, Bob of Lexington, Indiana, Tamara "Tammy" M. Dattilo and her husband, Greg of Madison, Indiana; 9-grandchildren; 10-great grandchildren; her brother in law, Larry Keith and his wife, Judy of Sanders, Kentucky; her sister in law, Peggy Hawkins of Carrollton, Kentucky; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, George Hopkins Rayl, died May 27, 1975, her mother, Hallie C. Henry Rayl, died June 25, 1991, her brother, Harvey Hopkins Rayl, died December 17, 1975, her sisters, Mary Elizabeth Leap, died August 28, 2007 and Norma Lee Slack, died November 19, 2011.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.,.by Pastor Chuck Justice at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens in Madison, Indiana
VISITATION
Friends may visit Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
