Miildred "Millie" Annette Donovan, 64, of Summerville, SC, a former dispatcher for the City of Goose Creek, died Friday morning at the Roper Hospice Cottage.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Dial-Murray Funeral Home, 300 West Main St., Moncks Corner, SC 29461 (843-761-8027) to assist with her funeral expenses.

Ms. Donovan was born March 21, 1959, a daughter of Nathan William Alexander and Isadora Burbage Alexander. She was a member of the Chaparral Baptist Church, and she was also a former manager for Hardees in Summerville. Ms. Donovan enjoyed flower gardening, especially lilies, and spending time at the beach. She also liked collectibles and crocheting, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her partner, Jerry Beasley; two daughters, Rebecca Love Beasley of Columbia, and Deanna Marie Beasley of Summerville; a son, Robert C. "Robbie" Donovan, Jr., of Pelion; four sisters, Annie Sifford, Doris Clark, Isadora Mizell, and Faith Cinco all of Summerville; two brothers, Hulbert W. "Ubie" Alexander, Sr., and Arthur L. Alexander both of Summerville; and nine grandchildren.
