Services were conducted at the M. E. church, Gladwin, by Rev. Grant L. Jordan Monday afternoon, Dec. 10, at 2 o'clock, for Mrs. William C. Stuck, who died Friday evening, Dec. 10, at her home in Sherman township. Burial took place at the Ridge cemetery.

Mrs. Flora Ellen Stuck was born February 28, 1876, near Oakwood, Paulding county, Ohio. She was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Battees, who moved to Gladwin county in 1899, and settled on a farm near Round Lake.

She was married to William C. Stuck April 28, 1901, and Mr. and Mrs. Stuck have since made their home on a farm near Round Lake, where he had located in 1896. Her husband, four sons and one daughter, Lester W., Donald L. and Albert of Saginaw, Woodrow at home and Mrs. Earl Beech of Saginaw, a brother, Walter Battees of Marcellus, and one sister, Mrs. Frank Kelley of Beaverton, Oregon, survive her.
