Mrs. Nodie Johnson
Graveside rites for Mrs. Nodie J. (Wicks) Johnson of Amarillo, widow of Hollie O. Johnson of Paris, will be held in Evergreen Cemetery, Saturday at 2 p.m. Hubert Roach, Church of Christ minister will officiate, Gene Roden & Sons arranging burial. A service Friday morning was held at Blackburn-Shaw Chapel in Amarillo.

Mrs. Johnson, who died Wednesday in a hospital at Amarillo, where she lived at 1312 S. Pierce St., was born at Honey Grove, April 9, 1904, daughter of J. W. Wicks and the former Mittie Pearl Lackey. Her husband operated a welding and machine shop here, his death occurring Nov. 4, 1945.

She leaves a son, Billy Floyd Johnson of Canyon, four grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Loyce Kelley, Amarillo, and Mrs. Thaney Long, Childress.
