Claude Chadwell Anderson, 74, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Landmark of Lancaster. He was born December 16, 1948 in Garrard County to the late Virgil & Elsie Frye Anderson. Claude had done many things during his life from farming to plumbing but loved and enjoyed mowing yards most of all. He had attended Good Hope Baptist Church and was a member of Lancaster Full Gospel Outreach. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Virgil Bryant Anderson & Eddie Wayne Anderson, and a sister, Patricia Goins.

Claude's survivors include four brothers, Danny (Gina ) Anderson of Lexington, Jerry Anderson of Lancaster, Larry Anderson of Lancaster, & Bobby (Edna) Anderson of Lancaster, as well as three sisters, Charlotte Montgomery of Lancaster, Sue (Tony) Coleman of Casey County & Ruby (Jack) Lear of Paint Lick and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Ramsey—Young Funeral Home by Rev. Jerry Browning officiating and burial following in Paint Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5—8 PM Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be John & Billy Joe Arnold, Joey Shelton, Jeff Anderson, Steven Goins, Ray Hammonds & Donald Lear. Honorary pallbearers will be his nieces and nephews, staff of Landmark of Lancaster and Katherine Callis.
