Dora Mae Castle Saylor, 78, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, March 13, 2008, at The Cedars. Born Dec. 27, 1929, in Fort Wayne, she retired from Fort Wayne Community Schools as a bus driver after 22 years of service, in 1986.
Surviving are her husband, Paul C.; daughters, Sharel "Skip" Kirchgassner of Churubusco and Denise (Doug) Brown of Spencerville; sons, Steven P. (Kathy) Saylor and Gary J. (Amy) Saylor, both of Fort Wayne; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service is 1:30 p.m. Monday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials to Riley Hospital for Children.
