Nancy was last recorded on the 1860 Butler Springs Township, Butler Co., AL census in the household of her son, Levi Manning Waters.

She was laid to rest beside her beloved husband Wilkes in an unmarked grave.

Levi Manning of Newberry died 1795 possessed of 150 acres in Edgefield District bounded by John Coleman, Andrew Lee dec, and Saluda River. Luke Manning stated that he purchased the shares of Wilks B. Waters, Levi Manning, Thomas T. Cureton and wife Polly, Jethro Manning, Simpson Wilson and wife Peggy and that the land belongs only to Luke Manning, his mother Elizabeth, Rhydon Grisby and wife, and that John Thweatt and wife. Levi Manning had been in possession of the land for about four years. Wilks B. Waters denies selling his share. See Equity 3-8.

Levi Manning died 1795 (notice difference in date with LWT) leaving widow Elizabeth and children:
1) Luke Manning lived in Edgefield.

3) Jethro Manning
4) Peggy Manning married Simpson Wilson
5) Mary Manning married Thomas T. Cureton.
6) Elizabeth Manning married John Thweat. They lived in Laurens District, SC.
7) Nancy Manning married Wilks B. Waters.
8) Sally Manning married Rhydon Grisby. She was not entitled to a share of the land by the LWT.
