The writer spent many hours with her during her long sickness and was impressed with her sweet unassuming Christian character.
We have good right to believe that the departed is at rest. Often have we heard her say she was expecting to go and was only awaiting His summons. Her sickness was long and tedious and she suffered untold agonies, but through it all she remained cheerful. Surely hers was a triumphant deaht.
In the presence of a large audience of relatives and friends we laid her body in the family grave yard to await the resurrection morn. May the God of all grace comfort and sustain the family their bereavement.
