Antonia Anderle Jistel, 90, of Austin and formerly of Cameron died Saturday, February 10, 2007 in an Austin hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2007 at St. Monica's Catholic Church with Rev. Chris Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in St. Monica's Cemetery. Rosary will be recited Thursday at 8:00 p.m. at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jistel, a homemaker was born February 24, 1916 to Albert and Mary (Reineke) Anderle. She married Richard Jistel on October 12, 1937 and he preceded her in death in 1982. She was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church where she served in the St. Monica's Ladies Society. A daughter, Rebecca, a sister Clare Wimmer and brother Walter Anderle also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: Sons, Martin Jistel & wife Patricia, Dennis Jistel & wife Sue, Artthur Jistel & wife Sharon, and Joseph Jistel & wife Patty, all of Austin; 7 grandchildren, Christopher, Chad, Sara, Jared, Aaron, Mark and Kelsey and 1 great grandchild, Thomas, also survive.
