Naomi Ruth Bishop, 63, of Laurel, died Friday, Aug. 18, 2006, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at East Laurel Jesus Name Church with burial in Old Fellowship Cemetery in Ellisville. Rev. Wayne Blackledge will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bishop, Jr.; two children, Pam Bishop and Timothy Bishop; parents, Robert and Mary Truett; two sisters, two brothers, and two grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Thomas Bishop of Meridian, and two daughters, Hazel Cox and Mary Beth Hite, both of Laurel; Four sisters, Eula Drennan of Ellisville, Mae Collum of Hattiesburg, Grace Waller of Ellisville, and Dean Windham of Laurel; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Carman Allen, Ricky Cox, Benji Hennis, Randy Windham, Brandon Windham, and Paul Allen, Jr.
Visitation is today at 5 p.m. at East Laurel Jesus Name Church with Memory Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
