Funeral services for Mrs. Alma Grace Trostle, 66, wife of John E Trostle, Gettysburg R3, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 from the Bender Funeral Home with the Rev. C Reynolds Simmons and Rev. Walter A Keeney officiating. Interment will take place in Marsh Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Trostle died Saturday morning at 10:15 at the Warner Hospital where she had been a patient since January 26 with leukemia. She was a native of Highland township, a daughter of the late Horner and Amelia Speck Kepner. She had resided in Cumberland township for the last five years.
She was a member of the Marsh Creek congregation of the Church of the Brethren and had taught a Sunday School class for a number of years, was a member of the Women's Work Fellowship and correspondent for the local congregation to the "Gospel Message," a church publication.
Surviving are her husband, whom she was married for 41 years; a son, Donald L Trostle, Gettysburg R4; a daughter Mrs. Robert H Strausbaugh, Spring Grove; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild, and two sisters, Mrs. Norman L Plank, Orrtana and Mrs. Galen Bringle, York.
