On Wednesday, December 14th , Wendel Wenston Lasiter, left this world and ran into the arms of Jesus and the love of his life, Sandy. He was 78.
Wendel was born in Houston, TX on March 17 th to JR and Bernice Lasiter. After the passing of his best friend and wife of 32 years, he lived out the rest of his days at their beautiful ranch "Makin Do Ranch" in Bedias, Texas where he could feel her sweet presence in the breeze and talk to her through the stars. He was a lover of Jesus Christ and a devoted husband. He loved his family, friends and his dogs and thoroughly enjoyed retirement and working on the ranch.

Wendel is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sandra Lasiter, sister Mary Francis Burkhardt and daughter Wendy Franklin.

Wendel leaves behind his brother John Lasiter and sister Carolyn Clark; daughters Meredith Byrne and Shelly Embody; grandchildren Devin Byrne, Robert Embody and Austin Franklin; nephews John Lasiter, Robbie Clark, Lonnie Clark, Rhonald Lasiter, Richard Lasiter; niece Laura Lewis and numerous friends and ranch neighbors.

Graveside services will be held at the Cashner Garden Park Cemetery on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 1:00pm where Wendel will be laid to rest next to his soulmate. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.cashnerconroe.com for the Lasiter family.
