Horacio Daniel Lerma

Horacio Daniel "Dan" Lerma, 63, of Findlay, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center.

He was born Sept. 15, 1959, in Findlay, the son of the late Felix and Eva (Cantu) Lerma. He married Angela Waller on Oct. 11, 1997, and she survives in Findlay.

Horacio's survivors include his wife; sons, Nicholas (Sara) Lerma of Findlay and Race (Bec Carter) Lerma of Columbus; daughter, Liberty Lerma of Findlay; grandson, Timmy Lerma; brother, Felix (Chris) Lerma of Alvada; sisters, Dolores Hunt of Findlay, Ellie (Tom) Paniagua of Deshler, and Angela (Kevin) Young of Manistique, Michigan; sister-in-law, Linda Lerma of North Baltimore; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Horacio was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Michael Lerma.

Dan was a very talented artist, achieving many awards and was a long-time member of Findlay Art League. He enjoyed nature, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with his family and friends. Dan was an avid collector of all " toys that shoot" memorabilia. He hosted the Flag City toys that shoot show for many years. He belonged to Bethel Bible Church, North Baltimore, where he was a deacon, Sunday School teacher, and also enjoyed fellowship at Buffalo Trading Post men's bible study. He had a heart for God, enjoyed good conversation, and was a friend to anyone that knew him. Dan was a locksmith at Bill's Lock Service, Findlay, for 36 years.

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Sunday, April 2, 2023, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Dan's funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Rodney Betts officiating.
