Johnie L. Bails, age 85, of Norristown died Sunday, March 9, 2008 in the VA Affairs Nursing Home in Phila. Mr. Bails was born Jan. 22, 1023 in Dixie, AR, son of the late John L. and Willie L. Bails. He was the husband of the late Heavenly E. (Griffin) Bails He worked for Weiss Interiors in Phila. as a furniture upholster.
Mr. Bails attended schools in Pine bluff, AR and served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. He was a member of Grace Tabernacle Seventh Day Adventist Church, Norristown.
Surviving are two sons: John D. Bails, Clifton, VA and Nathaniel Bails, Norristown; two daughters: Eilene Morgan and Lila-Sherrie Deans, both of Norristown; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; a sister, Delia Quick, LA, CA.; a son-in-law, Ernest Deans; and a daughter-in-law, Dr. Constance T. Bails.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Evelyn Denby.
