OUR BABY

Curtis Hubert Deborn was born August 30, 1913, and died April 29, 1914, aged 7 months and 29 days. He leaves to mourn his departure father, mother and one brother, two grandmothers, and one grandfather, and a host of friends. To see him was to love him - he always wore a smile for all. Little Curtis, you have left us; we miss you much but the Lord has called you and it is just. Fondly we have watched you for many a day, but the ache and the pain would not go away. You smiled through it all and asked naught but love; the smile on your face was the light from about but the Lord was in need of a flower gay, and, Curtis, he called you then you went away. You now are an angel with loved ones up there, singing, rejoicing in that land bright and fair. You did not stay long, but while you were here you brightened our lives and filled us with cheer; you have gone from our sight, but we will remember and love, and live to join you in that land above.

Funeral services were held at the Bethleham church at 2 o'clock Thursday April 30, conducted by Rev. Hegar. The pallbearers were Helen Lanman, Elizabeth Cudworth, Ida McClure, Grace Kelso and the flower girls, Reva Kuhns, Mamie Davis, Iva Parker and Jessie Carbaugh.
