Born to Alois and Mary Monroe Boudny. He had eight sisters. Alfred joined the Navy at the age of 17 and served on the USS New Mexico during WWII. He was a little league coach in Rosenberg and organized the Lamar Youth League in Richmond. He served the City of Rosenberg on the Parks Board for over 10 years. He was a member of the Rosenberg Brethren Church where he served as an Elder. Alfred's hobbies included fishing, hunting, gardening, playing dominoes, card games, making wine and taxidermy projects.
He married Thelma Stiba of Rice's Crossing, TX. Thelma preceded him in death on March 1998. They were married 50 years. He was also preceded in death by his father and two sisters. Alfred is survived by three sons, one daughter, three grandchildren, his mother who is 102 years old, 6 sisters and many other relatives and countless friends.
