Etta Marie Armstrong Bryant, 74, of Piketon, Ohio passed 7:38 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023, at her home. Etta was born October 8, 1948, in Wilmington, Ohio, the daughter of the late John Edward Payne and Rose Marie (Collins) Payne. On June 29, 2013, she married Kenneth Wayne Bryant, who survives.

She is also survived by two daughters, Vickie (Phillip) Royster, and Sherry (Mike) Cartee, a stepson, Scott (Tracy) Bryant, twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, two sisters, Jane Berry, and Mary (David) Post, and a brother, John Robert Payne.

Etta was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Stevie Joe Armstrong, and a sister, Sally Shaw.

Etta was a member at Odd Fellows Lodge, loved her family, and enjoyed the outdoors and fishing.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Howe Wheeler Boyer Funeral Home in Piketon, Ohio with Junior Lawson Officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery in Piketon, Ohio.

The family will receive friends 4:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2023.
