Rebecca D. Christner, 89, of rural Geneva died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, at her residence.
A homemaker, Mrs. Christner was a member of the Old Order Amish.
Born July 13, 1916, in Adams County to David A. and Mary P. (Schwartz) Wickey, her marriage on Nov. 10, 1938, in Adams County was to Cletus S. Christner, who preceded her in death on Nov. 8, 1990.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Joe (Becky) Troyer, Mrs. Elmer (Sylvia) Eicher, Mrs. Menno G. (Katie) Schwartz, Mrs. Mervin (Liz) Yoder and Mrs. Ben M. (Esther) Girod, all of Berne; three sons, Dave Christner of Geneva, Levi Christner of Canaan and Cletus Christner of Vevay; 84 grandchildren; and 221 great-grandchildren.
Calling is from 1 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the home of Menno G. Schwartz, 868E - 700S, Berne, where services will be held at 9 a.m. Sunday.
Burial will be in Bunker Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, Geneva.
