Martin Brennan, 55, of Mountain Top, died at Mercy Hospital yesterday following a heart attack. A former resident of this city, he had made his home at Mountain Top 11 years.
Surviving are his wife, the former Charlotte Lally; five children: Joseph, Martin, Jr., Anthony, Charlotte and Elizabeth, at home; five brothers, Thomas, Ned, James and Joseph Brennan, all of Wilkes-Barre, and John, Bushkill; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah O'Malley, Lyndwood; and Mrs. Helen Gallagher, Wilkes-Barre.
He was a veteran of World War I.
The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9 from the Yeager Funeral Home, Mountain Top, with a requiem mass at 9:30 in St. Catherine's Church, Mountain Top. Burial will be in the Good Shepherd cemetery, Drums.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday night and all day Sunday.
