Larry Allen Horne, 64, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Larry was born in Evansville, Indiana on May 20, 1958 to the late Bill and Louise (Houghton) Horne.

He worked for Accuride in Henderson for 22 years and retired from PAR after 23 years of service. Larry attended Forest Hills Wesleyan Church. He was a member of Order of the Owls Nest 30 and Izaak Walton League in Boonville. Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, four wheel riding, and bowling. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family above all else. Larry will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Larry is survived by his wife of 22 years, Rhonda (Jamison) Horne; daughters, Natalie Shekell (Brad), Jill Jackson (Derrick), and Ashley Presley (Matt); son, Andrew Horne (Tonney); grandchildren, Lily Horne, Kaitlynn and Kingston Seto, Chloe and Logan Shekell, Lexi, Piper, and Lincoln Presley, Will, Elizabeth, and Tyler Jackson, Tony Craig, and Jayce and Kayden Hamilton; sister, Elma Bush (John); and brothers, Gary Horne (PJ) and Jerry Horne (Beth).

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jennifer Marie Horne; sister, Beverly Foster; and brother, Michael Horne.

A celebration of Larry's life will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 with Pastor Ray Austin officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, April 17, 2023 and again from 9:00 am until service time on Tuesday.
