George L. Josenhans, age 83, of Peoria, IL , passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the beautiful OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home.
George was born on November 28,1939 in Chicago, IL to Dorothy Wilharm and Edward Josenhans. He was the beloved husband of Martha K. Ford for 61 years. He is survived by his wife, and daughters, Catherine Josenhans and daughter in law, Maureen Josenhans (son, Douglas Josenhans 1963 – 2011).
George served 40 years at Caterpillar as a senior technical engineer and mentored many upcoming recruits. In his earlier years, George spent 6 years as a Cubmaster in the local Boy Scouts. His many hobbies later included fly fishing, golfing, and traveling to see his children in Indiana and Ohio.
The burial will occur at Parkview Cemetery, 2001 N. University St. Peoria, IL.
