Mrs. Darilek was born May 17, 1921 in Moulton, TX to Frank and Julia Gieptner Pavlicek. Mrs. Darilek taught at St. Anthony's School in Cameron. She was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church.
Mrs. Darilek was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome (Jerry) Darilek in 1999 and by 2 brothers, Franklin and George.
She is survived by 2 sons, Michael and wife, Kay, of Garland and Mark of Ennis; a daughter, Linda Nettles and husband, Eddie, of Brazoria; 1 brother, Otto Pavlicek of Cameron; 3 sisters, Julia Kainer of Victoria, Marcelline Blaha of Angleton, Georgiann Barta of Flatonia; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
